Pumpkin Spree is an independent guide to pick-your-own pumpkin patches and pumpkin farms across the United Kingdom. We help families find a good pumpkin day out near them each autumn, and we share seasonal pumpkin recipes to make the most of what you bring home.
What you will find here
Our directory covers hundreds of pumpkin farms and patches, organised by region and by town, from the South East and East of England through the Midlands, the North, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Each listing sets out what to expect at that farm: whether it is a genuine pick-your-own field or a display patch, what else is on site (farm shops, mazes, animals, cafes), how to get there, and how to check opening dates and prices before you travel.
Alongside the directory we publish a small collection of tried-and-tested pumpkin recipes, from soups and risotto to muffins, pancakes and cookies, so a carving pumpkin does not have to go to waste.
How we compile our listings
We build each listing from the farm’s own sources, mainly its website and official Facebook page, and we try to describe honestly what a visit is actually like. Where we cannot confirm a detail, such as this season’s exact opening dates or prices, we say so rather than guess. Farms change their plans from year to year, so we always recommend checking the farm’s own website or Facebook page for the latest information before setting off.
