Algys is a family-run farm shop and cafe on Manor Farm, a working arable and vegetable farm at Bintree that has been farmed since the 1930s. Its homegrown pick-your-own pumpkin patch is one of the most popular Halloween outings in mid-Norfolk.

The pumpkins are grown on the farm, so you take a wheelbarrow into the field and pick your own from the patch, choosing from orange and white varieties in sizes from small to extra-large. Entry is free and you pay only for the pumpkins you pick, from around £1 up to £9.50 by size. Carving tools are sold in the shop, and there is hot food at weekends and half-term.
