About Cattle Country Farm Park

Cattle Country is an established family farm park at Berkeley, between Bristol and Gloucester, with farm animals, indoor and outdoor play and a summer sunflower field. It grows its own pumpkins for an October pick-your-own patch.

Pumpkin Picking at Cattle Country

The pumpkins are grown on site, and you pick your own straight from the field, which the farm is upfront about being uneven, bare soil, so it is a real patch rather than a display. Wheelbarrows and tractor rides help you get around. Picking is included in standard park admission, with the pumpkins paid for separately by size (from around £1). It is a genuine pick-your-own within a farm-park day out.

Opening Times & Prices

The pumpkin patch runs across October (in 2025, weekends from 4 October, then daily 25 to 31 October, 10am to 4pm). Park admission applies (around £12 to £15 per person in 2024, under-1s free), with the pumpkins paid for separately by size. Online booking is recommended and a little cheaper. The dates and prices for the coming season had not been published at the time of writing.
