Cattows Farm at Heather, near Ibstock in Leicestershire, hosts “Halloween Farm”, a large ticketed family festival each autumn where the farm grows over a million of its own pumpkins. Pumpkin picking is included with entry, alongside themed zones, mazes and entertainment across the farm. It is a big, event-driven day out rather than a quiet patch, and it sells out at peak times.
About Cattows Farm
Cattows is a working farm of over 300 acres at Heather, in the National Forest, with summer pick-your-own, woodland walks and a big autumn Halloween festival. It grows its own pumpkins on a large scale for the season.
Pumpkin Picking at Cattows Farm
Pumpkin picking is included with entry to the Halloween Farm festival: the farm grows its own pumpkins and you can pick from the field, with the pumpkins paid for by weight. As it is a large, themed event with zones, mazes and entertainment, the picking sits within a busy day out rather than a quiet patch, and there are usually pre-picked pumpkins available too. Pre-booking is recommended.
Things to Do on the Day
