Cobbs at Hungerford is a 55-acre working farm with a large farm shop, kitchen, butchery and vineyard. Each October it runs a pumpkin patch alongside its usual offering, with a sunflower field earlier in the year.
Pumpkins at Cobbs Farm Shop
Cobbs runs what it calls a pop-up pumpkin patch, where you choose your pumpkins (small, medium and large), with an optional pre-booked carving tent that includes a pumpkin and tools. We have not been able to confirm whether you pick from a growing field or choose from a laid-out patch, so if that matters to you it is worth checking with the farm. Entry to the patch itself has not required booking.
Opening Times & Prices
The pumpkin patch runs in the second half of October, usually covering half-term (in 2025 from 17 to 31 October, 10am to 4pm, and to 3pm on Sundays). Pumpkins were priced from around £2.49 to £4.99 each, and the carving tent (around £10 per person, pumpkin included) is pre-booked. The dates for the coming season had not been published at the time of writing.
