Cranford Christmas Tree Farm is a small North Devon grower at Woolsery, near Bideford, running a Nordmann Fir nursery alongside a woodland campsite on the same land.

The farm grows Nordmann Fir and Norway Spruce and sells wreaths alongside the trees, with a deliberate policy of plastic-free and minimal packaging. Its own descriptions do not agree on how you get a tree: one part of the site offers trees to preorder or as a pick-your-own, while another describes freshly cut firs to choose from. We have not been able to settle which applies in 2026, so please check with the farm before setting out if cutting your own is the point of the trip.
Opening times and prices
Trees started at £14.00 for a Nordmann Fir in burlap when we checked. The farm had not published 2026 opening dates in early September. The Woodland Camp on the same site takes bookings from £50 a night if you want to make more of the trip.
Christmas tree seasons are short and farms sell out. Checked against the farm’s own website on 7 September 2026. Please confirm with the farm before travelling.
