Dorset Country Pumpkins is run by the Miller family, who have farmed in Dorset for four generations, at Longclose Farm, Milton Abbas, near Blandford Forum. The pumpkins are grown from seed without herbicides or pesticides.

Pumpkin Picking at Dorset Country Pumpkins

You pick your own from a field of pumpkins in a mix of sizes and varieties, including orange and white, with a smaller mini patch for young children. Entry and parking are free, and you pay only for the pumpkins you pick (priced by size). There is usually a craft fair on the last weekend before Halloween, plus a food and drink vendor and a farm animal area.

Opening Times & Prices

In a normal year the patch runs on Saturdays and Sundays through October up to Halloween, roughly 10am to 4pm, with free entry and pay only for what you pick. Please note the patch did not open in 2025 because the crop failed after poor weather, so it is important to check that the farm is open for the current season before travelling.
