East Grange Farm at High Shincliffe grows its own pumpkins on a large scale, over 100,000 across 20 acres, in 17 varieties and six colours, with a summer sunflower field too. The pumpkins are grown in the field you pick from.
Pumpkin Picking at East Grange
You walk into the field and cut your own pumpkins, with wheelbarrows (including child-sized) provided, from tiny up to 12kg giants. Entry is a pre-booked ticket of around £5 per car or group (redeemable against your pumpkins), with the pumpkins then priced from £1 to £12 by size. Torchlit evening sessions run on some dates. Wellies are strongly recommended.

The patch runs on October weekends and then daily towards Halloween (in recent years the weekends of 11 to 12 and 18 to 19 October, then from 24 October until stocks run out), 10am to 4pm, with torchlit evenings on some dates. Entry was around £5 per car (redeemable against pumpkins), with pumpkins £1 to £12 by size. Pre-booking is required. The dates for the coming season had not been published at the time of writing.
