About Farmer Paul
Farmer Paul grows pumpkins at Weedon Hill Farm near Aylesbury, raising them from seed and planting them out in the fields. Each October the harvested pumpkins are brought into the Pumpkin Barn, a large covered space where you choose your own.
The Pumpkin Barn
The pumpkins are homegrown, then harvested and displayed undercover in the Pumpkin Barn for you to choose from, so it is a “choose your own” from the farm’s own crop rather than picking from a growing field. There is a good range, from tiny pumpkins to giants and unusual gourds, priced from around 50p to £10 by size. Entry is free.
Opening Times & Prices
The Pumpkin Barn opens from early October. In 2025 it ran Thursday and Friday 2pm to 4:30pm, Saturday and Sunday 9:30am to 4:30pm, then daily over half-term (26 to 31 October). Entry is free and you pay per pumpkin from around 50p to £10 by size; no booking is needed. The dates for the coming season had not been published at the time of writing.
