Pumpkins at Freshfields is the autumn pick-your-own event at Freshfields Farm, a working farm on Benwick Road at Ramsey Forty Foot, just outside Ramsey and around 9 miles from Huntingdon. The patch has run for several years and has its own following, and the farm has used it to raise money for charity. It is an unfussy, down-to-earth patch rather than a big ticketed attraction.
Pumpkin Picking at Freshfields
This is a genuine pick-your-own: you head into the field and pick your own pumpkins straight from the ground, with mini barrows provided to help. There are hundreds of pumpkins in a range of shapes, sizes and colours, priced by size from around 50p up to about £10. There is usually a sunflower field and some other pick-your-own crops alongside the pumpkins.

The patch opens through October (in 2025 it ran at weekends from 4 October and then daily from 24 to 31 October, 10am to 5pm). No booking is required.
