It is a “choose your own pumpkin” event rather than a pick-from-the-field farm, with the charge going to support the animal farm.

About Graves Park Animal Farm

Graves Park Animal Farm is a charity-run city farm within Graves Park in Sheffield, free to enter through the year, with rare-breed animals. Each autumn it runs a ticketed pumpkin event combined with a spooky woodland walk.

The Pumpkin Event at Graves Park

The event takes place in a decorated area of the farm, where children choose a pumpkin to take home, alongside a spooky woodland walk and a look at the animals. The pumpkins are laid out for you to choose from rather than grown in a field on site, so it is a “choose your own” pumpkin event aimed at younger children, and the charge supports the farm.

Opening Times & Prices

The pumpkin event runs on selected dates in the second half of October (in 2024 on 19 to 20 October and 26 to 31 October, 10am to 3pm). The charge has been around £7 per child (including a pumpkin, the farm and the woodland walk) and £1 per adult, with no booking required on the day. The dates for the coming season had not been published at the time of writing, so check the farm’s Facebook page.
