Laganvale is a working family farm at Sandy Lane in Lambeg, within the Lagan Valley Regional Park. Through the year it runs as a multi-season family attraction: soft play, farm animals and a maize maze in the warmer months, pumpkin days at Halloween, and Christmas tree sales from late November. It is an active, growing operation, with a new tipi event space added in 2026, so the pumpkin event sits within a well-run family destination rather than a one-off.
The Pumpkin Event at Laganvale Farm
Laganvale’s pumpkin days are a pre-booked, ticketed event. Visitors choose a pumpkin from a wide range of colours and sizes out in the patch, and a team is on hand to help with carving, so it works well for younger children. The pumpkin itself is paid for separately on the day. It is a managed, outdoor experience rather than a free-roam field, and because it has run on limited dates with timed entry, booking ahead is essential.
