Set on the local Christmas tree farm’s land near Bagnor, it also has a maize maze during the season. It is a straightforward, family-friendly pick-your-own in west Berkshire.

Newbury Pumpkin Patch runs each October on the land of the Newbury Christmas Tree Farm, near Bagnor just outside Newbury. It grows a big field of pumpkins, including unusual varieties such as the white “Polar Bear”, for pick-your-own.
Pumpkin Picking at Newbury Pumpkin Patch
You collect a wheelbarrow and pick your own from a field of thousands of pumpkins, in a range of varieties and sizes. There is also a maize maze, with tickets bought on site. No booking is required, and the patch is open while stocks last. As an open field, wellies are sensible after rain.
Opening Times & Prices
The patch runs in the second half of October (in 2025 from 17 to 31 October, Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm). Entry has been around £6.50 per person (under-2s free, ticket still needed), with the pumpkins paid for separately. No booking is required. The dates for the coming season had not been published at the time of writing, so check the patch’s Facebook page, which is its main channel.
