Pips Pick Your Own is a family-run pick-your-own at Kitley Farm, Yealmpton, a village just east of Plymouth in South Devon. As well as the October pumpkin patch, it runs pick-your-own raspberries, apples, carrots, beetroot and other produce in season.

You take a wheelbarrow into the patch and pick your own pumpkins. Entry is free if you are buying pumpkins (otherwise around £5 per person), with the pumpkins paid for separately by size. There is a golden-pumpkin competition, family photoshoots, a Halloween gift shop and homemade refreshments.
