About Priory Farm
Priory Farm is a long-established farm estate at South Nutfield, with a farm shop, food and a family attraction called Discovery Land. Its big autumn draw is the pick-your-own pumpkin field, where it grows tens of thousands of pumpkins on site.
Pumpkin Picking at Priory Farm
This is a genuine pick-your-own: you head into the field and choose your own from 27 varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squashes, with pumpkins priced from around £1.50 by size. The pumpkin field has its own car park, separate from the Discovery Land attraction. You can either just visit the field, or add a tractor ride out to it.
Opening Times & Prices
The pumpkin field opens through the second half of October (in 2025 it ran daily from 17 to 31 October), generally closing around 4pm. Entry to the field was around £6 per person booked online (a little more at the gate), with a higher-priced ticket including a tractor ride; pumpkins are paid for separately. Booking online is recommended as gate availability is not guaranteed. The dates and prices for the coming season had not been published at the time of writing.
