About Sacrewell

Sacrewell is a heritage farm and country centre at Thornhaugh, near Peterborough, with rare-breed animals, a working watermill, indoor and outdoor play and tractor rides. Each October it runs Halloween events with a pumpkin patch.

Pumpkins at Sacrewell

The pumpkin activity runs as part of Sacrewell’s Halloween events: you choose a pumpkin from the patch and carve or decorate it, with a pumpkin-pick-and-paint add-on, or a higher-priced upgrade that adds a spooky trail and a “Pumpkin Village”. It comes on top of general farm admission rather than as a stand-alone pick-your-own field, and we have not been able to confirm whether the pumpkins are grown on site. Booking is via the farm’s online ticketing.

Opening Times & Prices

The Halloween events run over the October half-term week, 9am to 5pm, with a separate “Scarewell” event on some dates. General admission applies, with the pumpkin pick-and-paint an add-on (around £3.50 per child) or a higher-priced upgrade (around £6 per child) including the trail and a pumpkin to carve. Booking online in advance is recommended. The dates and prices for the coming season had not been published at the time of writing.
