About Forge Mill Farm

Forge Mill Farm is a working farm within Sandwell Valley Country Park, run by the local council, with farm animals and a farm shop known for its produce. Each October it opens a homegrown pumpkin patch as a ticketed event, drawing families from across the Black Country and Birmingham.

Pumpkin Picking at Forge Mill Farm

The pumpkins are homegrown, and you pay for what you pick (larger “monster” pumpkins cost a little more). As well as the outdoor field, there is a second, more accessible patch on the farmyard near the entrance, which is useful in wet weather or for anyone who would rather not cross a muddy field. Entry to the farm and patch is a ticketed, pre-booked session.
