Wrentham Pumpkins is a pick-your-own pumpkin patch at Field Farm in Wrentham, Suffolk, run by the same family as Wrentham Christmas Trees. Each October it opens its fields for free-entry pick-your-own, with thousands of pumpkins across two patches. It is a straightforward, no-booking family outing between Beccles, Southwold and Lowestoft, and the same farm sells cut-your-own Christmas trees from late November.

Wrentham Pumpkins runs as the autumn side of Wrentham Christmas Trees, a family farm that has been growing Christmas trees for over 20 years at Field Farm in Wrentham. The pumpkin patch is a seasonal event on the same site, with the Christmas tree season following on straight after. It has its own dedicated following and is listed across the Suffolk family-day-out guides each year.

This is a genuine pick-your-own across two pumpkin patches, with several thousand pumpkins in a range of shapes and sizes. You head into the field and pick your own, with games around the site to keep children entertained. It is open farmland, so suitable footwear is a good idea, especially after rain.

Opening Times & Prices
The pumpkin patch opens for the second half of October (in 2025 it ran on 18 to 19 October and then 24 to 31 October, or until sold out, from 9am to 4pm). No booking is required. The dates for the coming season had not been published at the time of writing, so check the farm’s website or Facebook page before you go.
Entry to the site is free and so is parking, and you pay only for the pumpkins you pick. Both cash and card are accepted.
